Diabetic Shoes

Medicare Therapeutic Shoe Program For persons living with diabetes

Properly fitted shoes and accommodative shoe inserts can prevent foot ulcers and other foot complications that can lead to infection and amputation. Wearing shoes that are too tight or too loose can make your foot problems worse.

Diabetic shoes have extra depth to reduce pressure and to accommodate common foot deformities. This allows for fitted insoles that help to minimize and evenly distribute pressure from body weight.

Diabetic shoes are designed to cushion and provide support for lasting comfort.

Don’t risk foot injury because of poorly fitting shoes.
